Poplar is one of the most fast growing wood that can be found throughout the Northern Hemisphere. Poplar wood is whitish or light brown in color without knots. This species wood is also soft and light.
Despite of the lightness, poplar wood is very strong, durable and adaptable to different circumstances as well as warp-resisting once dried. It has straight grain , even texture, medium weight and excellent intensity and stability. Easily cut and sanded, poplar has oblique edge that helps resist cracking.
